Original full green morocco, decorated in gilt, spine lightly browned; top edge gilt, other edges untrimmed; in original patterned paperboard slip case; by the Wiener Werkstatte after Josef Hoffmann.

Group of two finely bound works produced by the Weiner Werkstatte workshop in Vienna. Founded by Austrian architect Josef Hoffmann (1870-1956) and graphic designer Koloman Moser (1868-1918), the Wiener Werkstatte sought to combine the modernist aesthetic of the Viennese Secession with finely handcrafted objects, including books, furniture, fashion, ceramics, and graphic design.
